Saju Palja (ๅๆฑๅ ซๅญ) refers to the Eight Characters derived from four pillars โ Year, Month, Day, and Hour of birth. Each pillar consists of a Heavenly Stem (Cheongan, ๅคฉๅนฒ) and an Earthly Branch (Jiji, ๅฐๆฏ). There are 10 Heavenly Stems (Gap, Eul, Byeong, Jeong, Mu, Gi, Gyeong, Sin, Im, Gye) and 12 Earthly Branches (Ja, Chuk, In, Myo, Jin, Sa, O, Mi, Sin, Yu, Sul, Hae).
The Day Stem (Ilgan, ๆฅๅนฒ) โ the Heavenly Stem of your birth day โ represents your core self. The remaining seven characters reveal personality traits, aptitudes, relationship dynamics, wealth potential, and health tendencies through their interactions.
